Please join us, the MLS Human Rights Program and the Institute for International Law and the Humanities for this lunchtime seminar. In this presentation, Robert McCorquodale will explore the development of business and human rights as a field and the way in which it challenges the state-based system of public international law.
Robert McCorquodale is a member of the United Nations Working Group on Business and Human Rights, a five-member group of independent experts. He is Emeritus Professor of International Law and Human Rights at the University of Nottingham, and a former barrister at Brick Court Chambers in London.
