18 June 2025. External event: Constitutional Poetics with André Dao and friends.

‘Constitutional Poetics’ is a one-day symposium convened by the Critical Research Association Melbourne, presenting critical examinations of the specifically poetic aspects of state constitutions and associated questions of nation and citizenship, drawing on critical legal and literary theory to investigate the motivated constructedness of specific constitutional practices. Featuring Professor Irene Watson as keynote speaker, other speakers include the Laureate Program’s André Dao, as well as Deeksha Koul, Marc Mierowsky, Lucie O’Brien, Oishik Sircar, and Kirrakee Watson.
