As part of the series of events for Professor Philip Stern’s visit to Melbourne Law School as part of the Miegunyah Fellowship, the Laureate Program in Global Corporations and International Law (LPGCIL) and the Law, Literature and Humanities Association of Australasia (LLHAA) are organising an interdisciplinary reading group on 13 August 2026.

This reading group is invitation-only and will be held in-person at Melbourne Law School. However, if you are keen to participate and would like to be considered for this full-day intensive reading group, please write to us at events-lpgcil@unimelb.edu.au with the following details: name, institution and position.

Attendees will receive five texts, distributed one month in advance, and are expected to read them to participate in the reading group.

This event is presented as part of the Miegunyah Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Program. The program invites internationally distinguished scholars for an extended visit to the University of Melbourne, enriching the University’s academic, intellectual and cultural life. The program is made possible through the generous support of the Russell and Mab Grimwade Miegunyah Fund.
